GR8 is our after school club for primary school children from the age of 7 years to school year 6.
We open our doors at 3:30 and the we finish at 5:15, GR8 is held in St Matthew’s Church hall (at the rear of St Matthew’s Church Dudley Road). The first half is spent doing activities, games and craft and there is toast, squash and hot drinks available. In the second half we take the opportunity to share bible stories, Christian life stories and life skills.
Each session is 50 pence per child we expect children to attend the whole session.

Xcite is a youth club for school year 7 -
The evening is divided into different zones; Activ8 is games and chat, The Roundup is a group game or activity, Chilin is when we have the tuck shop and a brake from activity, The Zone is where we have a serious talk/interactivity/presentation/life skill etc and Extra is a game together if there’s time.
Xcite is an open youth club but joining is by application so that the relevant child protection policy can be adhered to and the club rules properly communicated. Each session is £1 per child.

Our playgroup takes place on Mondays and Fridays starting at 9:15 am and finishing at 11 am in St Matthew’s Church Hall. We cater for ages 2 to 5 years and there is no need for parents to stay with their children.
The aim is to provide a safe place to learn through play and we offer the children
healthy snacks during the morning. The group operates at around 12 -
We provide plenty of opportunity for craft and we have a large toy library so that the children will not get bored with the same equipment. All our helpers are CRB cleared and we work along side the Sandwell Early Years and Child Care Unit. Each session is £2 per child

Our parent and toddler group takes place on Wednesday mornings starting at 9:30 am and finishing at 11:00am in St Matthew’s Church Hall. We cater for ages 0 to 5 years. A parent has to stay with their child (children).
Once again the aim is to provide a safe place to learn through play. Toast and squash is offered along with refreshments for the parents.
We also give birthday, Easter and Christmas presents.
Admission costs £1 per child. Children under 12 months coming with a sibling go free.
